- Services or non-physical items
- Items that violate local, state, or federal law
Restricted Fishing & Outdoor Gear
Some items related to fishing and outdoor activities may be restricted or prohibited depending on regulations, including:
- Gear intended for illegal fishing practices
- Items prohibited by regional fishing, wildlife, or conservation laws
- Modified gear designed to bypass legal limits or enforcement
Sellers are responsible for ensuring their listings comply with all applicable regulations.
Listing & Content Restrictions
Listings may be removed if they include:
- False, misleading, or incomplete descriptions
- Undisclosed damage, defects, or missing components
- Stock images or images not of the actual item
- Missing required photos or videos (including reel functionality videos)
- Inappropriate, offensive, or abusive language
- Attempts to move transactions off the Second Catch platform
Condition & Authenticity Requirements
- Items must match the condition selected in the listing
- All known wear, damage, or mechanical issues must be disclosed
- Counterfeit or imitation items are strictly prohibited
- Listings must accurately represent the item being sold
Failure to disclose material issues may result in refunds or account action.
Enforcement & Account Action
Second Catch reserves the right to:
- Remove or disable listings that violate this policy
- Suspend or terminate accounts for repeated or serious violations
- Withhold payouts related to prohibited or fraudulent listings
- Cooperate with law enforcement when required
Seller Responsibility
By listing on Second Catch, sellers agree to:
